getting ready

we’re at t-minus two months till baby cadence makes her appearance into the world! so exciting!

(and a little bit intimidating)

with this realization, i’ve definitely gotten down to business getting her nursery ready.

here’s a little update on the nursery projects i’m working on this week:

i bought a whole bunch of random frames at goodwill a few weeks ago. these will be used to display baby pictures of both sets of grandparents, ben, myself and cadence.

they needed a fresh, funky, ever-so-slightly shabby coat of paint though:

the pink and yellow really pop against the sand colored walls!

i also ordered this lovely print to hang:

the quote reads: “whatever you are, be a good one – abraham lincoln”

cute, no?

i found the print at volume 25’s shop on etsy. you should totally check them out, i have been super impressed with the print quality and customer service!

i also picked up these fun accent fabrics at jo-ann’s over black friday

i’m still kicking around some ideas for what to do with them, but they were too cute (and too cheap) to pass up!

aaaaand i may or may not have a slight obsession with monkey-themed baby clothes…totally not a problem.

here we go! the final countdown begins!

can’t wait to meet you dear little cadence!
